Job Description:

As a Meat Clerk at our James Bay store, you’ll be responsible for handling, preparing, and displaying a variety of meat products. Experience in food service or kitchens is an asset but not required – we’re happy to train the right candidate! Responsibilities:

• Meat Preparation: Cut, trim, and package meat according to quality standards.
• Display and Presentation: Arrange and label meat products in display cases, ensuring freshness and rotation.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, and communicate restocking needs.
• Compliance: Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Availability: Flexible availability wanted.
• Passion for Meat: A genuine interest in different cuts of meat and their preparation.
• Customer Service Skills: Approachable, friendly, and willing to engage with customers.
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Team Player: Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work environment.

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
