Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical components according to specifications and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment. The Mechanical Assembler will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are completed on time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components based on provided schematics and blueprints.
• Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.

Skills

• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate assembly.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation.
• Ability to assemble and fabricate components with attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
