Job Description
Our team develops high-precision, highly integrated MEMS inertial sensors for applications in smartphones and wearables. We drive innovative engineering projects from concept phase until high-volume mass production. With our industry-leading products, we enable real-time motion detection, indoor navigation, gesture and activity recognition as well as optical image stabilization (OIS).
To strengthen our expert team, we are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Vibration Characterization Expert for Motion Sensors with a profound understanding of mechanical vibrations and their impact on MEMS devices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and performance of our next-generation motion sensors.
- You will be responsible for the test definition and description of mechanical vibration characterization, including careful consideration of test setup constraints and limitations.
- You will perform thorough test data evaluation and assessment to derive meaningful insights into sensor behaviour under various vibration conditions.
- You have ability to align on sensor and test specifications with various internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- You define the overall cross-product test strategy and drive the implementation of test procedures and infrastructure
- You have a good understanding of root causes and dependencies between MEMS design parameters and the expected test results, particularly concerning mechanical vibrations in order to develop solutions to achieve the sensor target requirements.
- You document the results and present these in project reviews with internal stakeholders and to customers.
- With your base at our Espoo location, you have close interaction with ASIC development as well as established close interlinks to the HQ in Reutlingen, Germany. You support marketing and sales in the product definition and in the assessment of the competition.
