Addiction Medicine Training, Experience and Comprehension

Ability to Supervise Mid Level Providers 7.5 hours per week

Boarded in Addiction Medicine or Boarded Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical oversight across all clinical programs, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and quality standards such as NCQA and HIPAA.
• Lead clinical research initiatives, supporting innovation and evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
• Manage utilization management processes, including reviewing medical records and ensuring appropriate resource utilization aligned with hospital and managed care standards.
• Supervise medical staff, including physicians and healthcare providers, fostering professional development and maintaining high-performance teams through effective management and supervision.
• Supervise Medication Assisted Treatment for mid level practitioners
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations during clinical development activities and oversee documentation related to medical records and EHR systems.
• Oversee training programs related to medical management, hospital procedures, and regulatory standards to ensure staff proficiency in clinical development practices.

Skills

• Extensive experience in managed care environments with a strong understanding of healthcare management principles.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, EHR systems, and hospital information systems for efficient clinical documentation and data analysis.
• Deep knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical research methodologies.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations governing clinical trials and product approvals within healthcare settings.
• Strong leadership qualities with supervising experience in a hospital or clinical environment; capable of motivating teams toward shared goals.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
• Commitment to patient care excellence while ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy laws and other regulatory requirements.
