As a medical receptionist you will be an integral part of the administration function in the operation of the busy GP surgeries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Processing of documents
- Processing repeat prescriptions
- Booking in patients
- Managing patient queries
- Covering busy desks including reception, appointments, switch etc
- Covering outlying TKP surgeries where required
- Typing
- Scanning
- Photocopying
Other
· Be a positive, engaging, flexible and active key member of the reception team.
· Build up a relationship with all members of the practice.
· Promote and actively engage in an environment of care, compliance, continuous improvement, responsiveness to change and innovation within the company.
· Perform other ad hoc duties as required
