Position Overview:

As a Membership Retention & Events Executive, you will report to the Head of Operations and be based in our Dublin 2 office. Working alongside our Membership Retention Executive, you will play a key role in strengthening member engagement and retention through events & CRM management. From onboarding new members and ensuring they activate their benefits, to developing strategies that highlight the value of Guaranteed Irish, your goal will be to enhance member satisfaction and retention. Previous experience in CRM is essential and an interest in sustainability is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Onboarding & Activation

  • Welcome new members, ensure activation of their benefits, and issue membership packs with certificates.
  • Respond to member queries and provide ongoing support.
  • Update Guaranteed Irish directories, SharePoint, and HubSpot with member information.
  • Proactively follow up with new members to support activation and engagement.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of new members from the Business Development Team to the Membership Team, with accurate data capture.

Member Engagement & Retention

  • Conduct weekly retention calls to strengthen relationships and address member needs.
  • Follow up with tailored emails to enhance engagement.
  • Act as a key account manager for strategic members, developing tailored engagement plans, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and ensuring they receive maximum value from their membership.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to highlight members across social media, newsletters, podcasts, events, and other communications.
  • Report on and present weekly membership KPIs to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Events & Awards Management

  • Organise regional and industry-focused events for members and business development leads, from planning to delivery.
  • Support the Marketing team in delivering Guaranteed Irish Sector Forums and National Events, ensuring a strong member retention focus by fostering engagement, visibility, and long-term value for participants.
  • Support member participation in national and regional B2B and B2C events, including preparing exhibition packs and promoting activity on social media.

CRM Database Management

  • Manage and optimise member data within HubSpot, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain up-to-date contact details and segmentation for targeted marketing activities.
  • Oversee monthly data-cleaning processes to maintain database quality.
  • Act as a HubSpot resource for the wider team.

You may be required to take on additional responsibilities aligned with your role as both your position and the organisation grow.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Professional Experience: 1-2 years in a CRM, customer service, or account executive role.
  • Education: Diploma or higher degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in CRM and support software, with experience using HubSpot, Asana, and MS Office Suite for presentations, reporting, and database management.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a well-established network and a talent for fostering productive relationships across industries.
  • Initiative and Self-Motivation: Strong capability to work independently, demonstrating a proactive, solution-focused mindset without reliance on close supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey the Guaranteed Irish value proposition effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Quick thinker who can adapt to changing situations and manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Personal Traits: Creative, dependable, a team player, with a strong work ethic and a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Interests: Keen to keep up to date with Irish and international business news; an interest in sustainability is desirable.

  • Salary: €30-35K per annum depending on previous experience.
