Multi Skilled Carpenter & Labourer - Residential Renovations (Full Time Contract Work)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: €25 / hour
Working Hours: 8-5am M-T; 8-4pm Friday

Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced carpenter who is also a highly skilled labourer and overall great trades person.
Must have a strong experience in residential renovations.
The ideal candidate must be self-sufficient, while also able to take instructions and direction in order to meet the standards expected of Deeley Construction.
They must be able to execute tasks proficiently with minimal supervision.
This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of various aspects of construction, including demolition, groundworks, steelwork, roofing, internal and external finishing, while upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of residential renovation, including demolition, groundworks, steelwork, roofing, structural work, and finishing.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Ensure proper and safe use of hand tools, power tools, and factory machinery.
- Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and clients when necessary.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in residential construction and renovation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Own tools and transport (must be able to transport tools daily).
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to complete tasks to a high standard.
- Familiarity with Irish building codes and regulations.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good timekeeping.
- Must be flexible—some overtime or night shifts may be required.
- Physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Excellent English communication skills.

- Experience with tiling, stud work, slabbing, tape/jointing, and plastering (remedial works).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end fit-out environment.
