About the Position

We are currently looking for individuals to join our dynamic team at Santé Tapis Rouge. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children in a safe and stimulating environment, contributing to their development and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to children’s needs
• Organize educational and recreational activities to support child development
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in play areas
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and needs
• Care for children with special needs with attention and professionalism
• Build a trusting relationship with the family based on respect and dignity
• Contribute to the child’s education and promote values aligned with parental expectations
• Ensure proper supervision during nap time
• Assist with bathing and dressing when required
• Respond to emergency situations and perform any related tasks

Profile Sought

• Previous experience with children is essential
• Skills in meal preparation and childcare
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities is an asset
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Ability to create a positive and engaging environment for children
• Valid driver’s license
• Demonstrates maturity, organization, adaptability, and sound judgment
• Highly autonomous, able to plan and carry out tasks without constant supervision

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Meal preparation skills
• Cleaning skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, or educator
• Strong references from previous families
