Nanny For After School Hours

About the Family:

A warm and professional family, recently relocated from the Bay Area, is seeking a fun, and reliable nanny, with 3+ years of professional childcare experience, to care for their energetic and imaginative 2.5-year-old son. This role focuses on weekday afternoon/evening support with a few weekend hours. The total number of hours can be flexible based on the nanny's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, attentive care to a 2.5-year-old during scheduled hours
• Support dinner, bath-time, and bedtime routines
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities (indoors and outdoors)
• Assist with potty training (starting soon)
• Encourage healthy habits (handwashing, taking of shoes indoors)

Light Household Tasks (child-related):

• Cleaning up after meals/snacks
• Tidying play areas
• Loading the dishwasher
• Toddler Laundry and Dishes
• General tidying, if time allows

Optional Expanded Role:
If more hours are desired (up to 40/week), the family is open to adding tasks aligned with the nanny’s strengths, such as:

• Family assistant duties
• Light admin support
• Helping with the family business
• Travel or seasonal support (with potential NDA if business-related)

Qualifications:

Required:

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
• Open to signing an NDA for business/family overlap (if needed)

Preferred:

• Interest in child development and structured play
• Comfortable planning enrichment activities and outings
• Open to occasional travel or weekend flexibility
• Clean, organized, and mindful of respectful home habits
