About this Opportunity:
As National Business Development Leader, you’ll drive strategic sales growth, lead a small high-performing Business Development team, and build strong partnerships across Australia’s hospitality sector.
You’ll play a key role in expanding our franchise and dealer networks, while aligning business development initiatives with SilverChef’s purpose, values and strategy.
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
In this role you will:
Lead from the front: Inspire and lead our Business Development Managers to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Fuel strategic growth: Develop innovative national sales strategies.
Champion partnerships: Cultivate high-level relationships with distributed hospitality customers, franchise channels, and dealer partners.
Coach for excellence: Mentor and upskill your team across a broad range of sales capabilities.
Own the numbers: Leverage Salesforce and data analytics to track progress, measure success, and pivot when needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with State Sales Managers and Partner teams to identify new opportunities and build on existing success.
Be our brand ambassador: Represent SilverChef at tradeshows and networking events—bringing our values and purpose to life.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience leading national or multi-state sales/business development teams.
A strong track record of delivering against ambitious growth targets.
Deep understanding of B2B sales, with experience in hospitality or equipment finance, highly regarded.
Strategic thinking with a creative edge - you're always looking for new ways to grow.
A people-first leadership style that fosters trust, performance, and development.
Data-driven approach, with confidence in using Salesforce (or similar CRM systems) to inform decisions and track results.
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
