About the National Business Manager, NZ role:
As the National Business Manager for New Zealand, you will be responsible for managing the business, developing & delivering growth strategies, and representing SunRice with all key stakeholders in NZ. This standalone role is accountable to achieving budgeted sales volumes, profit and market share. The role works directly with channel & function leads in Australia, helping to deliver to the overall ANZ business strategy. Responsible for the overall management of the NZ retail channel, an experienced Business Manager who can autonomously represent SunRice and who can effectively represent the NZ business to and collaborate with head office teams in Australia. The successful candidate will have the ability to simultaneously work across multiple channels, customers and product categories.

What are we looking for in a National Business Manager? What’s important?

  • 15+ years experience performing similar duties to what’s described above
  • In depth understanding of the New Zealand FMCG market, and can apply this knowledge to account/channel specific activities
  • Experience across diverse categories, working largely with distributors
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Key personality traits characteristics should include resilience, energetic, self-starter, leadership, motivated, and opportunistic
Extra points for the following (not essential):
  • Degree qualified in Business/Marketing related discipline
  • Technical aptitude to facilitate sales in the food categories channel
  • Project Management experience
