The Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown is seeking interested candidates for the position of Night Auditor. The successful candidate should have an engaging, upbeat personality that enjoys greeting customers and be detail oriented.

Due to the new Federal Foreign Workers regulations put in place in Sept 2024 this establishment is currently at the maximum for associates working on all visa's. This being said at this time only persons with valid Permanent residency or Canadian Citizenship will be considered.

Job Description:

The Night Audit position is responsible for welcoming guests, processing guest accounts during check in and check out, answering calls regarding the property, and booking reservations.

In addition to the responsibilities noted above the Night Audit is responsible for the reconciling and balance of the days revenues inclusive of Food & Beverage. The Night Auditor will roll the day in our PMS system (Opera) and ensure that all revenues, taxes and folios are posted accurately. Preparation of daily reports will be prepared on time for issuance prior to shift end.

Shifts will run from 11:00pm until 7:30am

This is a full time position

Job Requirements:

* Check in and check out guests in a friendly and professional manner

* Answering reservation calls and inquiries regarding the hotel

* Communicate with necessary departments any guest concerns or needs

* Address areas of concern with our guests in a polite and professional manner

* Enroll guests into our IHG Rewards Club program

* Ability to process payment transactions with accuracy

* Issues correct keys to registered guests

* Assist guest with needs and requests

* Identify hotel’s VIP guests and notify appropriate departments

* Review guest’s arrivals and set up guest accounts prior to arrival

* Complete all items on shift checklists

* Other responsibilities as assigned

The successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment and also be able to work independently. This job requires a proactive thinker that wants to excel and is able to multi task under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.74-$25.99 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
