Interviewing to fill one (1) part-time office administrator position at Brass Mill Center Mall Management Office, located in Waterbury, CT. Position is on-site for thirty (30) hours per week. If interested, please submit your resume for consideration.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have at least two (2) years of administrator/manager experience
- Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
- Weekdays only, on-site only
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Handling general office tasks and administrative duties, such as:
- Assisting General Manager and Operations Manager
- Ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for Mall Office guests
- Overseeing check-in and check-out of vendors and coordinating access with mall security
- Answering phones, retrieving voicemail messages, and directing communications between colleagues, customers, and tenants
- Collection and recording of tenant rent payments and monthly sales reporting
- Data entry, composing memorandums, maintaining records, management of tenant files, including onboarding of incoming tenants
- Assisting tenants with balance inquiries and questions
- Submitting vendor invoices for timely payment and mailing vendor checks
- Coding/submitting credit card receipts for timely payment
- Tracking/updating vendor and tenant insurance
- Overseeing distribution and collection of mailbox and space keys
Skills Required:
- Must possess superior interpersonal skills and be able to speak confidently and professionally in English with people or groups of people while positively representing the mall.
- Must have exceptional written/verbal communication to compose memos and effectively communicate with colleagues, tenants, staff, and guests as needed, with minimal spelling/grammatical errors.
- Must be proficient with phone and computer use, including Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Previous experience with contracts preferred
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least two (2) years of administrative assistant/receptionist experience
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
- Professional appearance; appropriate business-casual attire
- Respectful, flexible, courteous and professional attitude under pressure
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
- Remain free from illegal drug use
- Shifts are weekdays only; 9am - 3pm
