Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Bartender to join our dynamic team at [Restaurant/Bar Name]. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash registers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience. We are looking to fil Monday, Tuesday, daytime hours from 10am to 4 pm and Every other Sunday 11-11

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the serving area, storage, and equipment
- Manage cash and credit transactions using a POS system
- Develop a thorough understanding of our beverage menu and be able to make recommendations to customers
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate a cash register
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure that all areas of the restaurant are covered during peak periods
- Participate in pre-shift meetings to ensure that all staff members are aware of daily specials and promotions
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, adhering to our high standards of customer service

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a bartender in a restaurant or nightclub environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food handling and storage procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills:

- Proficiency with cash registers and POS systems
- Knowledge of brewing and cocktails
- Experience working in a restaurant or nightclub environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to help others

- Knowledge of food handling and storage procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
