As our owner has relocated to Australia, we are looking for a dynamic National Manager to lead, inspire, and grow our business in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Leadership: Oversee and manage the operations of all Dreamland (NZ) Limited locations across New Zealand.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate store managers and staff to achieve performance and sales goals.
• Strategic Growth: Develop strategies to expand market share, improve profitability, and enhance customer engagement.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including stock management, merchandising, and adherence to company policies.
• Customer-Centric Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with the anime and gaming community.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor sales performance, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Brand Development: Promote the Dreamland (NZ) Limited brand through events, collaborations, and marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 5 or above qualifications in business or commerce is required.
• Proven experience in retail management, ideally at a regional or national level.
• Passion for anime, manga, and gaming culture.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in business development and operations management.
• Financial acumen and the ability to work towards KPIs.
• Flexibility to travel across New Zealand as needed.
• Long-term and full commitments are required.
• Be able to pass a police check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

• Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
