Operations Agent / Product Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Operations agent to join our team and help shape the future of our online sportsbook offering focused on event-based wagering. This role will involve hands on operational oversight and day-to-day management of the sportsbook platform and input into the product development backlog.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the sports betting industry and experience working with Agile/Scrum product development teams. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development and evolution of a growing sportsbook platform while gaining exposure across multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operational oversight of the sportsbook platform with input into event management, working closely with the CS and Sports analysts teams

• Action event management tasks, risk management controls, and other operational processes

• Liaise with external stakeholders to confirm requirements and test new features

• Liaise with product owners to provide requirements for product backlog

• Identify opportunities to improve product features, performance, and customer engagement

• Work with product owners to help define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements

• Contribute to the adoption of AI-assisted tools for requirements generation, documentation, and product workflows

• Document existing features and maintain and update documentation

Key Requirements

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a Sportsbook operations role, or as a product owner/specialist

• Experience working within the sports betting or sportsbook industry

• Strong written communication/English language

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience working with third-party vendors or external platform providers

• Understanding of regulated gambling environments

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI tools used for generating product requirements or documentation

• Experience working with sports data feeds, trading systems, or odds providers

Working Environment

• Hybrid working model: 2 days per week in our Cork office, 3 days remote

• Flexible schedule to support work-life balance

• Some weekend/evening work required during major sporting events, or on a rotationng basis
