2280 Main St, Vancouver · ~20 hours/week · Weekends required
$19/hr to start · Health spending account
Daytime hours - the shop closes at 6pm (5pm Sundays) and we are closed Tuesdays. No late nights.
Cultivate is a tasting room and shop for rare tea, matcha, and ceramics, sourced directly from small producers across China, Taiwan, and Japan since 2014. We are looking for someone to handle the operational side of our shop on Main Street.
This is hands-on, physical, repetitive work. You'll always be working alongside another team member. Restaurant, cafe, or kitchen experience is required - we need someone who works quickly, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable with pace and repetition.
Your day is spent packing teas for retail and wholesale, processing and shipping online orders, labelling, receiving stock, and keeping the back area organized.
Day-to-day
- Packing teas for wholesale and online orders
- Processing and shipping orders
- Receiving, labelling, and organizing stock
- Restocking shelves
- Keeping the packing area clean and organized
Who this is for
Someone with fast hands, strong attention to detail, and a steady work ethic. An interest in tea is welcome, but expertise is not required. You enjoy process-driven work, take pride in doing it well, and like leaving things more organized than you found them.
