Operations & Logistics Associate job opportunity

Overall Mission
The mission of our Operations and Logistics Associate is to act in a cross functional and versatile capacity to ensure the smooth handling of project documentation and communications associated with order processing, inventory management, import and export processes, last mile and white glove delivery projects. This requires splitting time between warehouse, logistics and office operations.
The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic operational environment, and engaging in all activities, connected with our Dublin office.

Initially, this role will include:
Day-to-day management of Medidis project documentation (explanatory training provided)
Preparation of packaging materials
Assisting with product returns
Order preparation
General warehouse duties, deliveries, airport collections
Supporting pick-and-pack projects
Carrying out additional ad hoc tasks as required
The role also involves working closely with logistics service providers (LSPs), customers, and intercompany partners, in addition to generating monthly reports on various KPI’s and and customer performance indicators.
Main Contribution
Medidis Project Admin

Assist with project documentation (returns sheets & TIC sheets)
Assist with management of database
Assist with management of spreadsheets
Order processing
Manifest generation
Shipper tracking

Warehouse
Assisting with receipt and processing of returns
Inspections and sanitisation
Pre-conditioning and conditioning of shippers (per work instructions)
Preparation of orders
Outer packaging assembly
Assistance with general warehouse duties as and when required
White Glove Delivery Service

Preparation of daily manifest for shipments
Direct liaison with customers for booking of shipments
Engaging with operations team internally on route planning and schedules

Last Mile Delivery Service

Direct liaison with customers on identification of shipper requirement
Processing internal orders for shipper use
Preparation of shippers for last mile project
Engagement with national courier to generate bookings as applicable

Import / Export Services
Booking of flights for cargo
Compiling associated documentation
Engaging with customs teams on customs clearance
Collections from Airport as required
Processing on TMS

Ad hoc duties

Assisting team with general administration
Assisting with welcoming visitors
Providing cover for team mates annual leave
Providing reasonable assistance as and where required

Required Skills
Profile(experience/ education)
Warehouse/ Distribution experience of min 1 year . Experience in a similar industry

Language
Fluent english (written and verbal)

Specific Experience & Knowledge Required
Full clean drivers license is essential
IT Literacy
