Overview

Have you secretly wanted to be an air traffic controller, or perhaps a professional juggler? If this sounds like you, then please read on! We're looking for an Operations Supervisor to keep our housekeeping, maintenance, and inspection operations running smoothly across our portfolio of vacation rental properties. You'll coordinate staff and contractors, manage supplies, and make sure every property is guest-ready, on time, every time. The role is full time, Wednesday – Sunday inclusive. Occasional after hours on-call support may be required (paid).

Responsibilities

• Schedule in-house housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Schedule cleans for contract cleaning companies
• Schedule quality inspectors
• Manage supplies for housekeeping and maintenance, including inventory, purchasing, and liaising with accounts to ensure bills are paid
• Manage physical operational space
• Manage vehicle fleet
• Monitor operations staff throughout the workday and adjust schedules as the workflow requires.
• Oversee relationships, accountability, billing and performance standards for contracted cleaning companies and in-house staff
• Liaise with contract cleaning companies to coordinate timing of linen deliveries and completion of cleans
• Organize external contractors for emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance
• Review billing from external contractors and vendor partners for accuracy and forward to the accounts department
• Assist with payroll and recruitment
• Oversee in-house laundry staff to ensure operational requirements are met
• Participate in recruitment of operational staff
• Oversee preventive maintenance and property audits
• Oversee fleet management
• Manage physical space in the operational facility
• Carry out routine hot tub maintenance when required
• Assist with housekeeping and inspection duties as needed

Experience

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple schedules and priorities
• A high level of English language proficiency, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or a supervisory role is essential.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with staff, contractors, and the accounts team
• Ability to make independent operational decisions and direct staff
• Experience training staff highly desirable
• A hands-on, team-first attitude — willing to pitch in wherever needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable performing light physical tasks (hot tub maintenance, assisting with housekeeping/inspections) when operational demands require additional support.

Pay: $55,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
