McCray Optical Supply Inc. is a wholesaler of optical tools, products, and accessories. We have been serving the optical industry for over 40 years. We supply optometrists, opticians, retail stores, chains and opticianry schools across Canada.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Lab Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality optical services to our clients, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of eyewear production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Operate optical equipment to grind, cut, polish and edge lenses for eyeglasses and fit lenses into frames
· Wire bending with tools for custom handmade sunglasses clip-ons
· Knowledge of basic tools
· Assist in basic Lab operations
· Other duties may assign
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of optical equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
