Job Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Optical Sales Associate to become part of our growing team! If you enjoy connecting with people, thrive in a retail environment, and are motivated by both customer service and sales, this opportunity could be a great fit for you. In this role, you’ll help customers make purchases that matches their lifestyle and preferences, while ensuring they have an outstanding experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized assistance
- Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their needs, preferences, and budget
- Clearly explain lens features, coatings, and upgrade options in an easy-to-understand way
- Accurately record and process customer orders
- Keep the store tidy, well-organized, and visually appealing
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage loyalty and referrals
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Optical retail experience is highly preferred, but not required—we’re open to training the right candidate with retail or customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers comfortably
- A strong sales mindset paired with a genuine customer-first approach
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Works well within a team and maintains a positive attitude
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends
Additional Information
This role will begin as a part-time position, with the potential to move into full-time depending on performance and business growth.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
