Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic osteopathic care to patients, utilizing manual therapy techniques to promote healing and improve overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on patient-centered treatment and health education. The Osteopath will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical health, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on osteopathic principles and patient assessments
- Perform manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and stretching exercises
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, posture, and self-care strategies to support recovery and prevent future issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Stay current with advancements in osteopathic medicine through ongoing professional development
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to osteopathic practice
- Excellent manual dexterity and tactile skills for effective treatment techniques
- Compassionate communication skills to educate and reassure patients
- Ability to assess complex health conditions holistically
- Professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in healthcare settings
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Previous experience using Jane is an asset.
- A reliable mode of transportation is required.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about holistic health approaches who are committed to improving patient outcomes through skilled manual therapy.
Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
