This will be an hourly position with the ability to work overtime.

We are looking for a Paint Room Helper to assist our team by prepping structural steel for paint.

Job Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Preparation of material to be painted, to include cleaning/blowing off steel and tapping off areas as needed.
• Moving painted material from spray area to drying area.
• Follow company standards to ensure a safe and positive work atmosphere.
• Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Use material handling equipment to safely move structural steel.
• Ability to often work long hours doing repetitive movement and standing for long periods of time.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand or perform repetitive movements for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must possess strong work ethic.
• Must be a team player.
• High school diploma or GED required.
