POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this pivotal role, you will oversee key administrative, financial, and organisational functions across the Chisholm Pastoral Region, including finance, employment, and property and building maintenance.
Working collaboratively with priests, staff, and parishioners, you will help ensure our parish community continues to thrive by supporting the effective stewardship of its physical, financial, and people resources.
Skills and Experiences:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Motivated to work for the Catholic Church and possess a strong commitment to its practices and values.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Demonstrated experience with coordinating a wide range of administrative functions in an accurate and effective way.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication both written and oral, and pastoral attitude.
- Ability to keep confidentiality, and the discernment to know what must be kept confidential.
- Computer competency in Microsoft Office applications and Parish data systems
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or 3-5 years relevant Parish experience in a similar role.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check clearance
- This role is subject to a National Criminal History Record Check
