Job Type: Part-time
Job Title: Parking Enforcement and Operations Associate
Parking Enforcement and Operations Associates enforce the rules and maintain the parking lots we monitor. You are required to use your own vehicle during shifts and will be compensated for mileage. Must be comfortable driving, walking, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Pay: $18.50 per hour / mileage compensation is additional
Expected hours: 20 hours per week with additional hours from time to time
Schedule:
- Thursday - 6pm to 10pm (4 hrs)
- Friday - 6pm to 10pm (4 hrs)
- Saturday - 2:30pm to 9pm (6 hrs)
- Sunday - 2:30pm to 9pm (6 hrs)

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- 3 Years of Continuous Auto Insurance (required)
Work Location: On the road
General Responsibilities
- Enforce parking regulations by patrolling assigned site(s), issuing warnings and/or violation notices in accordance with parking enforcement guidelines, redirecting parkers to appropriate parking areas
- Interact with the public in courteous and respectful manner
- Engage and arrange to meet Calgary Parking Authority to conduct vehicle towing
- Conduct vacant stall counts as required at various times of the day to monitor traffic volumes and identify opportunities to improve parking services
- Report all equipment failures and damage to signage to management
- Prepare and maintain required records, including logs of parking enforcement activities, and record of contested citation
- Clean up and remove garbage from assigned locations
- Report any trespassing or encampment
- Report any issues with the safety or maintenance of the locations
- Engage CPS and EMS if necessary to remove trespassers and encampments
- Manage company issued phone and printer with due care and attention
- Able to execute calmness and de-escalate interactions with confrontational drivers
- Always represent Vibe Parking with professionalism
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Class 5 FULL driver's license and clear drivers abstract
- Demonstrate a competency in English to the extent of reading and understanding written regulations, orders and instructions, and able to compose legible reports
- Ability to make quick decisions in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
- Physically able to walk up to 5+ kilometers each day
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records
- Ability to handle private information with a high amount of discretion
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
