Part-Time Assistant Teacher
Kiddie Academy of Hendersonville, a premium private child care center is looking to hire energetic, fun loving teachers that are ready make an impact in a child's life! Caring and nurturing future leaders, providing activities that help develop skill sets, and create a warm and loving atmosphere for the children assigned to them are the primary responsibilities of this job. (Hours required: FLEXIBLE AM/PM HOURS)
Part-Time Assistant Teacher Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Our lead and assistant teachers are responsible for ensuring that all parents, children, and classroom staff concerns are appropriately addressed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists in age groups ranging from 1 to 5 Year Old Classrooms.
- Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom are appropriately maintained, in accordance with the NAEYC cleaning and sanitizing guidelines.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings, as requested.
- Physically arranges the classroom into well-defined interest areas. Directs activities of other staff in the classroom to ensure that the classroom functions in an orderly manner.
- Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
