MQT Nutrition Part Time Assistant Baker
Job Description/Duties
This position is an on-site, hands-on, and interactive role within our growing and busy production kitchen. We specialize in allergen friendly baking! Duties include working alongside the Baking Department Head and kitchen crew through teamwork, following and executing standardized recipes, measuring/mixing batters, icing/frosting/glazing, utilizing knife skills, operating commercial kitchen equipment, packaging and labeling, fulfilling special orders, and transportation of baked goods.
We are a growing business and need to fill our baking position with an individual who is willing to put in the work to grow with us.
Requirements;
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver’s license
- Commercial baking experience
- Outgoing and confident with an ability to self-manage
- Have knowledge and experience in the culinary/food service industry
- Reliability, consistency, strong communication, team player
- Be highly organized and detail oriented
- Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude
- Familiar with google drive applications and email
- Work actively and respectively side by side with the Cook Team, Food & Event Manager, Baking Department Head, etc.
- Flexible availability including some weekend hours as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
