CleaningMachines.ie is a growing, innovative provider of advanced cleaning and robotic solutions across Ireland. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Bookkeeper & Marketing Support Specialist to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible working hours, variety in their work, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing Irish company.
Role Overview
This is a dual-support role, combining:
- Core bookkeeping and financial administration, and
- Marketing & social media support to strengthen our online presence.
You will work remotely, managing your time independently while collaborating closely with management.
Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Finance
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns, VIES returns, and VAT RTDs
- Monthly bookkeeping including:
- Bank reconciliations
- Creditor reconciliations
- Allocating debtor receipts and preparing statements
- Posting month-end journals
- Preparation of management accounts (monthly / bi-monthly / quarterly)
- Preparation of accounts to trial balance stage for external accountants
- Assisting accountants with ad-hoc requests
- Company administration tasks
- Fleet management administration
- General ad-hoc administrative duties
- Marketing & Social Media Support
- Assist in managing social media accounts including:
- TikTok
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with brand voice
- Monitor social media performance and provide insights for improvement
- Respond to customer comments and messages professionally and promptly
- Support marketing campaigns and promotions
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices
- Use scheduling and analytics tools effectively
- Basic graphic design support (an advantage, not essential)
Role Requirements Essential
- Minimum 1 year bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Desirable
- Experience with Odoo, QuickBooks, other accounting packages.
- Basic understanding of VAT, RCT, and payroll taxes
- Accounting Technician or bookkeeping qualification (advantage)
- Social media management experience
- Familiarity with analytics and scheduling tools
- Basic graphic design skills
