Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will be responsible for processing transactions accurately while ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
• Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and merchandise displays.
• Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure products are well presented and stocked.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and improve overall customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years of age
• Must have "Serving it Right" certificate
• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with technology sales, including product demos and technical sales, is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone.
