Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales skills and grow within our company.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, including technical specifications when applicable
• Upsell additional products or services to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
• Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and appealing
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
• Use phone etiquette to follow up with customers or answer inquiries professionally
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technology sales preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform product demos confidently, including technical or complex items
• Organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Upselling techniques to enhance sales performance while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail operations is advantageous
• Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 30.0 per week
