Job description requires Assistant Teachers to provide supervision of infants, toddlers, and Pre-k students to ensure safety and security. Teachers must be intergenic, self-starter, good with children of all ages, able to engage in teaching activities throughout the day, assist with diaper changing, toileting, and provide for the social and emotional development of each child. You must be patient, understanding, kind and be able to maintain good boundaries in a positive way. You must work well with others, be dependable and on time. It can be physically demanding, so candidates must be fit and able to lift 30+ pounds occasionally and be active throughout the day. Also have great communication skills. Written and verbal’s are vital.
- Must be able to pass the background check including finger print
- Must have a high school diploma or a GED
- CPR is required as part of the training once hired
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Chattanooga, TN 37412: Relocate before starting work (Required)
