Job description:

We're a growing furniture business looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our team. You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations — moving stock, handling pallets by forklift, and helping load and unload deliveries so orders get out the door safely and on time. Liaise with customers and offer an excellent customer service experience.

• Operating a forklift to move, stack, and store palletised furniture stock safelyLoading and unloading delivery vehicles, including articulated trucks
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer ordersReceiving and checking incoming deliveries against paperwork
• Maintaining accurate stock records and keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised
• Following all health, safety, and manual handling procedures

REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or similar operational environmentValid forklift licence / certification
• Current manual handling training certificate
• Full, clean driving licence (Category B)
• Flexibility to work flexible hours as operational needs requirePhysically fit and able to carry out manual work, including lifting
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
• Experience handling large or bulky goods (e.g. furniture
• Familiarity with stock management systems
• 2 - 3 day working week with flexible hours to suit business needs
