An exciting opportunity to join our team and play an important role in the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (Academy).
About the Role
We are looking for four people for the following four roles:
- Participant and Program Support Officer, Ballarat Regional Centre
- Participant and Program Support Officer, Bendigo Regional Centre
- Participant and Program Support Officer, Moe Regional Centre
- Participant and Program Support Officer, Shepparton Regional Centre
The Participant and Program Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership's Regional Division in the provision of high-quality professional learning, contextualised and responsive to the needs of school leaders and teachers in Regional Victoria and surrounding areas. The role works directly with participants to provide program resources, room-set-up support (including in a virtual space), and high-quality customer service from program inception and participant registration through to program conclusion.
The role is also a key administrative function and support to the Academy's Regional Centres, leading the engagement and management of localised facilities-management service providers to ensure effective and safe operation of the Regional Centre.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Demonstrate initiative, experience and knowledge in customer service and the planning and organising of professional learning events.
- Work cooperatively to support a high performing team dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Participate in ongoing development and training to ensure you are across any updates to key policies procedures.

- Possess the ability to understand and address participant needs to deliver a high-quality professional learning experience for local education stakeholders.
- Have a capacity for the prioritising, executing and record keeping of work tasks will be pivotal for your success.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working in a dynamic, high performing customer service team.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels through effective communication and exceptional consulting abilities.
- Effective problem-solving capability to resolve or escalate operational service queries.

About the Division
The Regional Division operates seven Regional Centres (i.e., Bairnsdale, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Mildura, Moe, and Shepparton) to lead localised engagement and professional learning delivery, including across school sectors. It includes a local team in each location who knows the local school community and facilitates their engagement in professional learning.
The Division hosts statewide professional learning managed through the Leadership and Teaching Excellence Divisions. It works closely with the Academy Services Division for optimal participant support and customer service. It works closely with the Business Services Division for efficient learning space and technology management.
