Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes. The Parts Person will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining stock levels while providing exceptional service to both internal teams and external customers.

Duties

• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed.
• Utilize ERP systems for data entry and procurement processes.
• Source parts and supplies from various vendors while negotiating favorable terms.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling orders promptly.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure timely availability of parts for production needs.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking parts usage and availability.
• Operate forklifts safely to move materials as required.
• Assist in demand planning to forecast future part requirements based on production schedules.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to identify suitable parts for various applications.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in purchasing and procurement processes within a supply chain environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Familiarity with sourcing and negotiation techniques to secure the best pricing and quality from suppliers.
• Mechanical knowledge is beneficial, particularly related to motorcycles or off road .
• Proficiency in inventory management is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts safely is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$26.00 per hour
