Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory authority responsible for regulating, conducting, and promoting the sport of greyhound racing and greyhound welfare in our state.
The sport generates $844.8 million in economic activity, about $3 billion in wagering, returns $70 million in prizemoney, and directly involves over 18,000 people.

Description:
Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is looking for a People Coordinator to join our People Services team in West Melbourne. This is a pivotal role focused on supporting the entire employment lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to workplace relations and systems management.
About the Role
As a People Coordinator, you will provide high-quality service delivery and administrative support to employees and managers. You will work closely with People Leads to ensure a seamless experience for our workforce while leading specific portfolios and maintaining our HR systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
End-to-end Recruitment Support: Drafting adverts, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, attending interviews and preparing employment agreements.
Employment Lifecycle Administration: Managing onboarding, probation check-ins, variations, and separations.
Mailbox & Query Management: Acting as the first point of contact for level 1 HR queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Systems & Reporting: Maintaining employee data and configuring HR systems with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Team Coordination: Supporting the People Services team with organising meetings, event coordination, and general administration.
About You
We are looking for a genuine, empathetic team player who values progress and has a strong eye for detail.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated experience in human resources.
Skills: Exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a high level of confidentiality.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in IT applications (experience with Elmo HRIS is highly desirable).
Qualifications: A qualification in Human Resource Management.
