Introduction:
Are you a people-person ready to kickstart your HR career at Sydney’s most iconic amusement park?
Luna Park Sydney is seeking a proactive and organised People & Culture Coordinator to join our team and provide meaningful support to our team members on all things People & Culture.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is naturally service-oriented and is excited to keep building their HR knowledge and skills.

This is a full-time office-based role. You must be available on-site to liaise with teams to ensure P&C processes are met.

Description:
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance of our HR information system – ensuring team member records are up to date
Monitoring the shared P&C inbox – responding to queries and triaging emails for the team
Coordination of recruitment processes – drafting job ads, hosting recruitment nights, phone screening
Overseeing onboarding and induction processes – being the first friendly face new starters meet and rely on for system setup queries
Coordination of staff recognition programs – drafting communications and collaborating with managers to celebrate team member milestones
Qualification audits and reporting – checking working rights (VEVO) and ensuring team member qualifications are valid
General P&C team support and administration tasks

Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field
Foundational understanding of HR principles and willingness to learn
Strong written and verbal communication and professional attitude
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite
Creative flair and an eye for detail
Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment
Have an agile and continuous improvement mindset
A passion for customer-focused and problem-solving approach to work
Previous experience with HR information systems and time and attendance/rostering systems – desired but not required
