The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised People & Culture Coordinator to support our Business Partnering, Employee Relations and Organisational Development teams.

As a trusted “go-to” person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will deliver high-quality administrative and coordination support, underpinned by exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. This is a crucial role within our People & Culture function, providing essential support that enables the team to operate at a strategic level. You will act as the first point of contact for general P&C queries, manage key administrative processes, and ensure our programs, systems and governance requirements run seamlessly.

You will also be hands-on in coordinating leadership and development logistics and initiatives, supporting our graduate and apprenticeship pathways, administering employee lifecycle processes, and maintaining the integrity of our HR systems and reporting. From coordinating performance review cycles and drafting employment variations, to assisting with visa documentation and tracking professional memberships, this role offers broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.

Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Act as the first point of contact for People & Culture queries, managing the HR inbox, triaging requests and providing timely, accurate support across the business.
  • Coordinate key People & Culture programs and initiatives, including leadership development, graduate and apprenticeship programs, employee benefits and wellbeing activities.
  • Support the employee lifecycle end-to-end, including onboarding, offboarding, performance review administration, employee movements (secondments, reclassifications, contract variations) and contract tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation and compliance records, including employment contracts, variation letters, position descriptions, visa documentation and apprenticeship records.
  • Maintain HR systems, data integrity and reporting, ensuring accuracy across ELMO and Micropay and contributing to monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including governance and WGEA reporting support.
You will work closely with experienced Business Partners and specialist leaders, supporting delivery while building your capability across People & Culture in a fast-growing organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, systems and coordination, and is looking to grow their career in People & Culture within a supportive, high-performing team.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Prior experience in a similar role within HR / People & Culture
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence drafting employment correspondence and professional communications
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing data and reporting
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (ELMO experience will be highly regarded)
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs, and take initiative and understand how to apply organisational context to tasks
  • A high level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
