The People & Organization team
The People and Organization (P&O) team is dedicated to making sure Cogniters are equipped to do their best work and become the best versions of themselves. Together, we are a diverse global P&O team including People Operations & Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development & People Business Partners. We are currently present in Norway, USA and India with more to come.

In this role, you will make an impact and work in close collaboration with these functions in addition to various stakeholders across the organization, whilst reporting to VP Operations & Reward.

We are looking for an adaptive, agile, proactive and hands-on team player who wants to make an impact and take ownership to drive the People Operations agenda.

Who are you

  • Genuinely motivated by in the field of People Operations
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant broad HR experience
  • Experience within employee relations with knowledge of Norwegian labor law, government regulations, HSE etc.
  • Experience working in international companies with a matrix structure
  • Strong analytical and digital skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to “connect the dots” and take ownership.
  • Experience with HRMS/HRIS and extended HR Technology such as AI that enables efficiencies to local and global people processes. Experience with HiBob is an advantage.
  • Initiate and lead various improvement projects
  • Manage and balance the need for ad-hoc tasks and projects with overall strategic priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and network with a broad range of stakeholders in a dynamic environment
  • Be a trusted to-go-to colleague with knowledge and service mind-set
  • Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English is required
  • Relevant University degree

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage People Processes in line with employee lifecycle together with P&O colleagues
  • HRIS Management
  • People analytics
  • Manage relevant people policies (review, improve, implement)
  • Drive efficiency measures and implementation of new ways of working
  • International HR:
    • Global Mobility coordination
    • Employer of Record (EOR) point of contact for new contracts and People Ops & Rewards follow-up
    • Support on People & Organization Audits and reporting requirements
  • Misc. People Operations tasks as per our annual wheel ad hoc tasks based on business needs
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior P&O colleagues
