Job Title: Per Diem Adjunct Counselors – Milner House an Adult Mental Health Group Home

Location: Moosup, CT

SEEKING PER DIEM ADJUNCT COUNSELORS

Description: All Adjunct Counselors are contacted to provide coverage on a per diem basis. There is not a guaranteed schedule and coverage requests are based on program and client need. Milner House is a licensed adult group home.

Milner House helps adults remain stable and develop skills to live independently.

Adjunct responsibilities may include:

  • Medication monitoring
  • Client transportation
  • Assists clients in addressing medical and psychiatric need
  • Prepares and facilitates educational and skill building groups and one to one interventions as directed by the treatment plan
  • Assist in the preparation of meals
  • Counseling
  • Coordinate care with providers and families as needed
  • Documentation
  • House cleaning

Opportunities are available to work all shifts,1st, 2nd, 3rd, including weekends and holidays based on program and client need.

Hiring requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related human services field or a High School Diploma plus two years of experience working in the mental health field.
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to transport client in own car, when needed.

Supervision and training provided.

Rate of Pay: $21.00 per hour
