Position: Person In Charge (PIC)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: €55,793 - €65,155 (HSE Social Care Leader Scale)

Location: Kilkenny

About Us
Aurora provides community-based residential and day services for adults with intellectual disabilities, supported by a team of 300+ healthcare professionals. We support over 80 adults with intellectual disabilities in our dedicated and compassionate environment.

Role Overview
We are seeking a key driver and champion to support people in living fulfilling, self-determined lives. The PIC will lead daily operations in collaboration with their line manager, acting as a central communicator for families, multidisciplinary teams, senior management, and the community. Flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to our vision are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Care, or Nursing (Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, General, or Children’s).
• Relevant Management qualification (required).
• CORU registration (where applicable).

Requirements

• 3+ years in a managerial healthcare role.

• Full, clean driving license and own transport (manual).
• Proven leadership ability and experience in resource planning.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and certification.
