Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and ensure proper documentation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Support clients with household tasks including laundry, organizing personal belongings, and light housekeeping
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
• Engage clients in recreational activities and social interactions to foster engagement and independence

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is preferred
• Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
• Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills and patience
• Ability to follow care plans accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Prior experience in caregiving, cleaning, meal preparation, or related roles is a plus
• Reliable transportation may be required for home visits or client transportation needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.75-$20.00 per hour
