Overview

We currently have an opportunity for an internship in the Creative Department in the role of a Assistant

Photographer Intern . This candidate has a creative eye for great photography and project coordination, bringing

fresh ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities 

Support photographers, art directors, and the production team in capturing high-quality photography and

video for print, social media, digital campaigns, and branded content. 

Assist in setting up studio shoots: unpacking, organizing, and assembling camera and lighting equipment. 

Supporting stylists team with sample assembly, unpacking and tagging. 

Demonstrate a solid understanding of lighting techniques and camera operation. 

Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and readiness for shoots. 

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail on all tasks. 

Assist with multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while also being able to work independently. 

Stay informed on current trends in photography, design, pop culture, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications 

1–3 years of education or experience in photography or a related field; internship or assistant experience

preferred. 

A strong portfolio is required (please include a link with your application). 

Solid understanding of photography, lighting, and video production. 

Familiarity with professional photo and video equipment and studio strobe lighting. 

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Capture One. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Core Competencies 

Strong collaboration and communication skills. 

Tech-savvy, with excellent computer and file management abilities. 

Video editing knowledge considered an asset 

Highly organized, with effective time management and multitasking skills. 

Energetic self-starter who embraces creative challenges. 

Conceptual thinker with a talent for connecting ideas and generating innovative solutions. 

Creatively driven and able to brainstorm unique, trend-forward ideas. 

Drivers license an asset
