Career Opportunity

Our team and business are growing in 2024, and we have an immediate opening for a PIck Pack Associate. This position is part of our fabrication team. This term position may be extended to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to read Bills of Material and to pack products according to the specified products and quantities
• May perform basic fabrication functions: basic cutting and punching of aluminum and mild steel components per drawings
• Perform basic materials handling operations; ships and receives materials, may assist with equipment and shop maintenance
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Follow and enforce all safety measures
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Most work will be in our main fabrication facility, may be deployed to job sites as required
• Keen attention to detail, quality focused, production driven

Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma is required, certificate from a college or vocational institute preferred
• 2 years experience in a production/ fabrication environment. Prior experience in a pick/pack role is an asset
• Able to lift 20 lbs routinely, occasional lifting to 50 lbs is required
• Ability to drive a forklift an asset
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail
• Possesses a “take charge attitude”
• Bilingual considered an asset.
