Job Description

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you’ll work under the guidance of a journeyperson plumber to assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems. This role combines on-the-job learning with classroom apprenticeship training, helping you develop the practical skills and technical knowledge needed for a rewarding career in the trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems
• Support journeyperson plumbers with tools, materials, and job setup
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials as needed
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
• Participate in on-the-job training and attend required apprenticeship schooling

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Clear criminal record check
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and work in confined spaces
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials (an asset)
• Previous construction or trade experience is an advantage but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
