Job Title: Pool Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to finish

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team for the seasonal period of May to October. The successful candidate will be responsible for the regular maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of residential and commercial pools, spas, and related systems. This role also involves minor repairs and customer communication, requiring strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:Pool Maintenance

• Perform scheduled maintenance (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) on pools, spas, decking equipment, and water systems.
• Inspect pool and heater systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
• Test and balance pool chemicals for safe swimming and system functionality.
• Ensure each job site is left clean and orderly before departure.

Communication

• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude with customers and team members.
• Communicate effectively and promptly through team chats, work orders, phone calls, and verbal updates.

Repairs & Replacements

• Document and report any repairs or equipment replacements through work orders or directly to the manager.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in demeanor.
• Maintain a clean, presentable uniform and appearance.
• Respectful of client property and environments.
• Physically able to lift and handle up to 45 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to remove small dead animals from pools as required.
• Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gas masks, safety boots, etc.
• Prior pool maintenance experience is an asset, but training may be provided.

Work Conditions:

• Travel required between multiple job sites.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and industry-related hazards.

Compensation:

• Base Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
• Experience Bonus: Additional $0.50/hour for each full year of prior pool service experience

Requirements:

• Valid G-Class Driver’s License
• Clean driving abstract (required for operating company vehicles)
• Previous pool maintenance experience is an asset (bonus applied accordingly)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour
