At the University of Göttingen - Public Law Foundation-, Professur für Entwicklungsökonomik und Globale Gesundheit (Prof. Vollmer), there is a full-time position (39,8 h/week, suitable for part-time work) as
Postdoctoral Researcher (all genders welcome)
to be filled. Starting date is 1 April 2026. The position is limited to 2 years.
The salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale ( TV-L E13 ).
The research group works on Development Economics and Global Health. You are expected to contribute to teaching and research of the Chair and to develop your own research agenda. Within a research-based, interdisciplinary and international environment, you have wide opportunities to develop your skills. The position is meant to qualify young academics.

Your profile
- MA and PhD in Development Economics, Development Studies, Global Health or another related discipline
- High quality research papers
- Thematic fit to our research group
- Broad skill set for empirical research (good theory skills are a plus)
- English Language skills on C1 level are necessary
