Job Summary:
The Prep Cook plays a key role in preparing ingredients for large-scale sauce production. This includes accurate measuring, cleaning, and organizing ingredients, while ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, clean, and portion raw ingredients for daily production
- Assist in measuring and scaling ingredients according to recipes
- Wash, peel, cut, and handle vegetables, spices, and other components
- Maintain a clean and organized prep station and work area
- Label, store, and rotate ingredients properly
- Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Support the production team with various prep and general tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in food prep or kitchen work is an asset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented with good communication skills

Le Préposé à la préparation (Prep Cook) joue un rôle clé dans la préparation des ingrédients pour la production de sauces à grande échelle. Cela comprend la mesure précise, le nettoyage et l’organisation des ingrédients, tout en respectant toutes les normes d’hygiène et de sécurité.
Responsabilités principales :
- Préparer, nettoyer et portionner les ingrédients bruts pour la production quotidienne
- Aider à mesurer et peser les ingrédients selon les recettes
- Laver, éplucher, couper et manipuler les légumes, les épices et autres composants
- Maintenir un poste de travail propre et bien organisé
- Étiqueter, stocker et faire la rotation des ingrédients correctement
- Suivre tous les protocoles de salubrité, d’hygiène et de sécurité
- Soutenir l’équipe de production dans diverses tâches de préparation et tâches générales au besoin
Exigences :
- Expérience en préparation alimentaire ou en cuisine est un atout
- À l’aise dans un environnement de production alimentaire rapide
- Capacité à suivre des instructions et recettes détaillées
- Grand souci de la propreté et de la sécurité
- Capacité à soulever jusqu’à 50 lb et à rester debout pendant de longues périodes
- Bon esprit d’équipe et bonnes compétences en communication
