The Role

We are seeking a Principal Advisor – Planning and Reporting to drive strategic financial planning and elevate executive decision-making across the business. This role is central to shaping the company’s financial narrative and fostering strong partnerships across the business.

Reporting to the Manager Planning & Reporting, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s annual financial plan, ensuring it aligns with business-wide strategic priorities and performance targets.

  • Collaborate closely with senior executives, acting as a strategic thought partner to deliver forward-looking financial insights and influence key business decisions.

  • Transform complex financial and non-financial data into strategic insights, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that support long-term value creation.

  • Develop compelling executive presentations, clearly articulating financial performance, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities to drive alignment and action.

  • Drive the execution of priority finance projects, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and measurable outcomes.

What you'll bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. MBA desirable.

  • Proven experience +10 years in strategy consulting, corporate advisory, or senior finance role with a track record of delivering impact in complex environments.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to drive strategic financial initiatives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and non-financial information to senior leaders.

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills – able to frame ambiguous problems, analyse data, and drive collaborative problem-solving.

  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to achieve common goals.

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and supporting others, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
