Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer, you will provide initial process engineering design, implementation and validation for both individual processes along with new product introduction. You will also provide ongoing technical support to production including equipment support, process/yield improvement, capacity expansion and process documentation.

You’ll be responsible for providing professional engineering services, including:

• Review and improvement of yields
• Monitoring Quality and Performance controls in the Process
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce operation costs and waste
• Provide Process Engineering support for New Product Introduction(NPI) projects
• Technical support for product queries from Sales and Customers
• Managing changes in manufacturing
• Writing and maintaining Process documentation
• Capacity expansions
• Provide training to production staff on new processes and changes to existing processes

This is an excellent opportunity for a Process-centric individual and someone who has broad experience in a manufacturing environment.

We’d love to hear from people with the following:

• An Engineering degree, preferably in Electronics Engineering
• Experience with APQP Framework
• Competent in structured problem solving using 8D methodology
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing
• Ability to design and perform experiments
• Strong documentation skills
• Knowledge about Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
