Calibre Metal Building Erectors is a forward-thinking construction company specializing in metal building installations across various sectors including commercial, industrial, and warehousing.

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Brantford. This role will support project managers in pre-engineered building construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are supported in the delivery of successful project outcomes. You will work closely with senior and junior project managers, estimators, field staff, vendors, customers, and the owner of CMB Erectors Inc. to support project objectives and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers on construction projects to ensure objectives are met and that procedures and performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications
  • Complete site visits to deliver tools and materials, conduct toolbox talks, and attend site meetings
  • Capture photos and videos of site progress for documentation and marketing purposes
  • Ensure site documents are completed and submitted by field staff on time each day
  • Maintain a strict adherence to document control policies, including following the digital organization scheme and ensuring all relevant project documents are captured and digitally filed
  • Track project progress and manage daily administrative tasks
  • Purchase supplies and materials as required by projects and office
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to support decision-making processes. This may include examining financial, quality, or logistical data
  • Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships
  • Communicate with site team members as needed, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate ideas for improving company processes and efficiency with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others
  • Miscellaeneous office duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of project coordination principles
  • Ability to coordinate teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data collection techniques to inform project decisions
  • Experience operating within a CRM or ERP would be an asset

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
